— Who We Are

Two arms, one purpose

Arzoo Swabhiman began in 2008 as a citizens' welfare society, spreading awareness about the rights and government schemes that too many families never learn about — including, in recent years, hands-on help accessing the Ayushman Bharat health scheme. In 2012, that mission grew a second arm: a cooperative housing society that turns awareness into action, building genuinely affordable homes for the same communities.

Our founding body. Conducts regular public seminars on the Right to Education, free and concessional medical treatment, and pension schemes — and hand-delivers the forms people need to actually claim them, in Mumbai, Pune, Satara, Nashik, Ahmednagar and beyond.

Our cooperative housing wing, registered in Pune under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act. It pools members from the EWS and LIG income groups to purchase land and build affordable homes — at cost, with no developer margin.

Free public seminars held across Maharashtra, backed by on-the-spot form distribution so people can actually apply for what they're entitled to.

Health Assistance

Hands-on help for families to understand and actually use the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) — India's largest government-funded health cover scheme, run under our regular health camps.

01 Checking eligibility and explaining the documents needed — Aadhaar, ration card / family ID and a registered mobile number.

02 Assistance generating the Ayushman card and the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID.

03 Helping families locate empanelled hospitals near them and understand how cashless treatment works.

Affordable Housing

A member-funded cooperative that buys land and builds homes strictly for the EWS, LIG and MIG income groups — priced 20–25% below the open market.

01 Homes priced on a no-profit, no-loss basis — never for developer margin.

02 Up to 75% home loan facility arranged through Repco Home Finance and Janseva Sahakari Bank.

03 Registration is open to all — no purchase obligation, and the first name on every registration is the wife or mother of the family.

Registered under the Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950 and the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 — Registration No. MAH/MUM-37-2008. Every housing project is verified by an independent lawyer and architect before a single rupee is collected from a member, and every home is priced on a no-profit, no-loss basis. Our health-scheme assistance is purely educational and facilitative — we help families understand and apply for government entitlements; we are not the National Health Authority and never charge a fee for this help.

We never accept cash outside our registered office, and registering with us never obligates you to buy.

Housing Membership Process

A transparent, four-stage process — from registration to handover.

01 Register

Pay a one-time registration fee of just ₹251. There is no obligation to purchase once registered.

02 Land is Verified

Sites are chosen with roads, water and power in mind, then checked by an appointed lawyer and architect.

03 Deposit & Instalments

A 25% deposit is collected over 2–3 months; the remaining balance is arranged as needed, with up to 75% financed by our partner lenders.

04 Build & Handover

An architect and RCC designer are appointed, a contractor is engaged, and homes of 300, 400, 500 or 700 sq.ft are built to plan.
